Marion Gardner OTR/L

Marion first found her passion for occupational therapy when she joined a group called Friends Club helping children with special needs with various activities in the 6th grade. Marion is a two-time graduate from Brenau University, graduating with a Masters in Occupational Therapy in December of 2021 after receiving her BS in Psychology in May of 2018. During Marion’s graduate studies, she had the opportunity of working in various settings, including pediatric outpatient, SNF, and hands and upper extremities adult outpatient. She also had the privilege of completing research under her thesis chair, about the difference between Everyday Cognition in Older adults vs. Younger Adults. After receiving her license in occupational therapy, Marion began working in hands and upper extremity and shortly after also transitioned into a pediatric and school-based setting, which has added to her extensive experience working with children with emotional disorders, sensory processing, auditory processing, visual processing disorders, visual perceptual disorders, deficits in fine and gross motor, and developmental delays. Additionally, Marion is dry-needling certified (DNT).
